Hissing sound (rear)

Hissing sound (rear)
After getting home last night (such a nice day to take out the Mustang). I walked around the back side of the car so I could go to the other side and get my things out. I hear this "hissing" sound. I was like great my tire is going flat. I bent down and felt around the tire and it wasn't the tire. This is on the passenger rear side inside the tire well. I really couldn't tell where it was coming from though. (I should of taken a picture.)
Any ideas?

Was the car running could have been the exhaust leak. If not running might have been something with the pressure releasing out of the fuel tank. Like a vent valve or even a gas cap leaking.
