CarFax report says it was manufactured in the US. Engine V8 HO SEFI. Called my hubby about the intake maniford (he believes it says 5.0). How accurate are these CarFax reports?

Check the possible '93 VIN number combinations, and check it with yours at http://www.wcfords.com/articles/info/vin/vin.html .....for a convertible, digits 6 &7 should be 44 or 45

Well these guys are pretty sure that there were no 93 cobra convertables so it probably just a gt. If it was a cobra it would say Cobra on the manifold

My insurance classifies Cobras and GTs the same also. So it could be just differentt company's classification titles.
Plus you can look at your front apron (the metal surrounding the radiator) and on the front side right behind the Driver side light is a piece of metal that is stamped. This, if still present, will display all the trim options and features. You just have to look online to be able to know who to discifer the codes.
