Default 5 Speed to C-6

yesterday i blew my transmission, it just didnt cut it anymore. yy buddy has a nicely built c6 that he never used that i can take from him because its just taking up space. besides adding the flexplate, shifter i buy, and running the cooling line from my radiator, and the coverter, what else do i need? wiring? crossmember? also would i have to reprogram my computer somehow? any wiring i should know about?

what motor are you using? its could be a major pain in the *** since the c6 uses the big block pattern

Depending on what it was used on before, I think you might have to buy a diff. bellhousing. I might be wrong though.

the bellhousing is attached to the trans, ok, if i went C4, what would i need to change? I need a tranny and figured, its going to be a track car only soon, might as well make it worth it. I didn't know the c6 was heavier either..
