514 mullet

Engine computer harness from an 89 chp car. 4 cylinder car is also an 89. Everything seems to be good but not getting signal to fuel pump for some reason. I have read somewhere that you are supposed to change a few of the computer pins but according to schematics, both engines get their signal from pin 22. Does anyone happen to know something about this or can link a page or site that shows exactly how they dealt with this issue? I checked all over this site along with several others. A few make mention of this pin change yet none tell me which ones and Im not seeing anything stand out on the schematics as an issue.
