I think those black ponys are hidius
Thanks for your opinion..hiddeous enough to be in the voting for ROTM I guess...(winning...not a chance )

I wasnt aware this was a 2.3 motor the trans was goin into. I assumed from your user name and sig that it was for a V8..

appanrently nobody else did either cus they didnt read. the car in the pic is a diff one its toasted, but anyways, i dont post in the 4 section cus most 4 guys havent wont do a auto to t5 so they wouldnt be as much help. alota 5.0 guys have swapped out a nasty auto for a t5.
wondering why everyone is so opinionated, i aked for help not opinions. and why the hell would i spend all the money on a tremec for this car???! or any mustang. t5s are plenty good unless ur putting down 300 plus ponies or ft lbs of torque. anyways just got home with my borg warner t5 and pedals, and flywheel.80 bucks! cant beat that. the pedal assembly was a biotch!!!! i pulled one and the quadrant was missing so i had to pull another one just to get a quadrant that was all there! so 2 pedals plus tranny! i started at 11am the tranny, and flywheel where out by 1:30pm it took me till 4:30pm to get my pedal stuff. im pulling my entire dash when i do it, it will be the easiest way i think. so ill prolly start on this in the next few days. i think ill set up the pedals first since that will be the hardest part. saw 2.2l turbo probe and im going to research and see if it can be made to fit the 2.3l a differant motor i have that i will tear down and rebuild with turbo coupe stuff. then switch motors out still need to fix my other car but it needs a new tranny and new motor. ill never do a 351w again though, big waste of time, rather do another carbed 5.0 so anyways that it for me and thanks WhiteFoxGT u save me alot of time geussin where bolts where and how many on the pedal thing!

ok, first the 2.3 t-5 is not going to work. any t-5 really isn't worth the hassle and one from a bone yard might be all ready have the syncos out or soon will have....I hate to see you waste you $$$$$$ plus unless you have a a9p computer you will need to swap unless it carb....even finding an AODE would be better. the AOD is weak becuase of a crappy OD band and oil system which can be fixed..cheap? no...now there are several places to get a great racer aod..again cheap? no..

i didnt spen much, its a u pull it junk yard55 for trans 11.50 for flywheel,6.50 for pedals and cable and 11.50 for the driveline. spent like 90 bucks and about 4 hours of my time, and of course it had to rain too. i love how cheap this place is but they never have 5.0 stuff, they dont buy em to part out but really a lincoln mark 7 has the all wheel disc breaks i want and maybe a good motor and there a ton of diff lincolns, u just gotta pick one, a motor cost 95 for a long block and like 170 for a motor from pan to intake and if its bad u got 30 days to bring it back. love junkyards hehehe[sm=badbadbad.gif]
