Default trickflow heads?

we'll im thinking real hard about saying fu#@ it and just ordering a set of their heads since i will be runnin tfs intake ,and tfs stage 1 cam and i hear that their stuff makes better power when it is used together because i want to get to 300 rwhp my setup im gonna run about to pull motor is
tfs intake
tfs 1 cam
crane 1.6 roller rockers
65 mm bbk tb
76 c&l maf
.030 trw's
underdrive pullies
bbk unequal headers
bbk h-pipe
bbk cold air
flows out the back
cast gt-40's ported and been shaved like.025's off a 93' cobra

so what do u think for numbers with this setup i know im not gonna hit 300 rwhp with this that is why im wanting to get a set of twisted wedge heads waht do u think

Do you already have the cam and intake? If not, just buy a top end kit. Lot cheaper for everything. Get a 70mm TB, and you'll need different length (and hardened) pushrods with different heads.

When people say they don make 300rwhp do they meanthey didn't make 300rwhp without a dyno tune or with one because the tune makes a big difference.

Idk what to think, I've seen a lot of TFS top end kits fall short of 300whp.

yes i already have the intake and cam everything i listed i allready have ,and yes when i get all done and running i am going to get it tuned .have not tore the motor out yet am just about ready to but i want to get close to 300whp.but like i said and u will probably agree the cast gt-40's are not going to get me there. what kind of numbers? yes i really want the afr's but i thought that matching everything would get me more hp or am i wrong?

all that sounds good....
i recomend TF heads
the stage 1 TF cam is ok, and is a very good camshaft, i ran one for a little while
i replaced the TF 1 camshaft with a ford motorsports X camshaft, and it picked my car up
alot!!!
the X Cam is an all around better camshaft, than the TF stage 1
but you can run the TF stage 1 on factory pistons, you cant on the X camshaft, as far as i know.
im running 7.0s on the motor, with out of the box twisted wedge heads.
in my opinion, they are an all around better head than any other(out of the box).
i would buy TF before any other head, if you didnt want any port work done too them.

I've seen AFRs and Alphabet cams make higher numbers than the trickflow top end kit, so all that matching stuff does not always make more power.
