Default Collector value harmed?

I was thinking about doing a rear disk conv on my wife's (Mrs.verter2) 93 triple white Limited Edition; do you think this would be veiwed negatively in the "collector" realm? Personally, I would think that though it is not stock, the saftey gains would outweigh the "not stock" effect on it's value-but I might be way off base. Your thoughts? Thanks

How much are you really going to gain by adding rear disc brakes? If you drive it enough to care about braking performance then by the time it would be a collector, you'll have a ton of miles on it anyway which will decrease the value to the point where the type of brakes won't really matter anyway. If you're only driving the car once or twice a year, I'd leave it original. If you want it to be a collector car and unique, leave it alone...air silencer and all My $.02.
