Default transmision/rearend help?

hey guys im looking at doing a manual swap on my fox, and putting a 3:73 gear in the rear, i am looking to put tremec 5 speed, now which one should go with, 2.92 first gear or a 3.27 first gear? and what would be the big difference

3.27 first gear... a better jump off the line.. the 4 banger t5s have a larger first gear making them more desireable for auto to manual swaps

the higher the numerical numer the less MPH in that gear but more acceleration... so yes the 3.27 will have more "punch" than the 2.92
