Im sure you guys all know about this issue. My foglights turn off after awhile of being on, like 2 mins. Ive heard 5.0 mustangs are plagued with ****ty wires or connections causing them to do this or w/e. I was wondering how i can fix this problem because i just purchased new fogs for my recently aqcuired mustang. Thanks

rewire them. the wire is to small and overheats to easy

how far back to i have to rewire and what guage wire should i use?

Common problem on Foxes. The factory wires were too small and can't handle both headlamps and fogs at the same time. The wires begin to heat up, wich creates more resistance. That creates heat. That creates resistance. Etc. It eventually gets to a point where the thing is so hot that the thermal switch deactivates for a while. This is usually around the timeframe you described. Try this
