i should get my teacher to hold a driving leason for all the mustang drivers on here, if he can get a t-5 to run 10's all day long theres no reason 99% of the people on here can't get them to run 12's reliably

ever hear of rear gears??? the t-56 with 4.10's is 2-3 mph longer than the tko with 3.73's do the math

The t56 lives very well in the cobra's that are pushing close to 500rwhp and they are about 500 lbs heavier than a fox body. So, you do the math.

voted TKO because you did not say the T56 is viper spec. That would be the only T56 I would buy. Also look at the point of spending a few extra bucks could be cheap insurance in the long run and could give you more flexibility of engine/power upgrades in the future without having to modify the trans again. I say if you are going to change, do it right the first time. TKO600 or T56 Viper Spec, leaning towards T56 Viper spec personally.
You guys are saying that a T-5 can run consistant 10's all day. That is true, but each trans can react differently. Hell I have seen mustangs running 12's break trans, that was with a very good driver. Each product can be different very slightly but still different and react differently to hard driving.

Yea im gonna ask the guy at class tonite and see if they offer the viper spec t-56. anybody else have an opinion or would like to see what kinda price i can get from the frpp? thanks so far!
