So i've been in a dilemma for a while now not havin the stang on the road since the trans is blown. i've decided to convert to a manual from the AOD and i pretty much decided to go the tko 600 route. but now that my buddy brought it to my attention that he works at a frpp dealer and can get parts for exactly $5 over cost the t-56 doesnt sound to bad. i'll have to get everything for either trans anyway since like i mentioned im converting so its not like i'll have to get more or less parts for either trans unless im forgetting somthin. i can get the tko for $1614 and the t56 for $1844 both shipped. idea's or opinions?

i thought the same myself but it doesnt list it in the catalog. i'll have to check and make sure tom if they have it. if they do then.....well. i may have to take the poll down cuz we the answer then

well im prolly gonna go with one of those since they are pretty strong transmissions. yes i kno you can build a t-5 real strong but then your approaching the prices theses trans and its still a t-5.

so a stock t-5 is as much as a tko or t-56??? thats news to me... a stock t-5 with a good driver can hit consistant 10's and be reliable enough for DD

tko 600 here, I chose it because its cheaper to put in and is stronger than a t-56 in stock form, some people have luck with t-5's some dont, I personally didnt so I upgraded

hard say which one... i got a tko and some times i wish i had a t56....
