Is mine a real GT
I just bought a 1986 gt i think. But title says gt/lx. Carfaqs says the same. I know vins ran the same so i was cool with that. but i check to see recalls from fords website for ****s and giggles and it comes back as this....

Well i think on the title it says that cause they ran basicly same vins. But wierd how ford said it was a lx.

thats the site i used and just said lx. Now mabey its just a basic/loose term they use. I have the efi ho. It has the stock hood witch says gt. well i think its stock lol. I know it has a newer lx hatch and light conversion.

Check the body style number. On the later madel foxes they were anywhere from 40-45. I think it is near the engine code. Once you find that surf the net and see if you can find a correct answer.
