Want a Free Dyno Pull?

RE: Want a Free Dyno Pull?
foxbody, i can get the airflow chart for the heads, and prolly dig up the cam specs somewhere (if anyone knows them that would be really helpfull cause i can save em for future use). im a dummy when it comes to 5.0 EFI, is it considered sequential fire or tuned port? whats the cfm rating on these things? its gotta be based off the throttle body right? so whats cfm for stock? cfm for larger sizes? any help here would be greatly appreciated.

ya, dont we ALL wish we had a dyno in our garage?[8D] anyways if you got an engine where you KNOW the flywheel HP i would like to do some more comparing. waiting on EFI info so i can do foxbodyforever's motor.

yeah you can choose forced induction, and then which type (they have specific models listed, bith belt drive ratios and all sorts of crap that im unfamiliar with

Have any of you played with...
... one of these G-tech accellerometers? I bought one a while back. Itcan calculate 1/4 mile times, give you HP vs RPM curves, and 0-60 or 0-100-0 times... all by measuring the acceleration in three dimentions. I didn't really believe what it told me when I first used it. It was reading a lot lower hp than I thought I had built. Then, last weekend, I put my car on a dyno and measured it at the back wheels for real. Guess what??? The HP curve the G-Tech produced as well as the HP at the rear wheels was dead on. 262 RWHP was a little dissappointing, but that's what I apparently have. Anyone else played with one of these??

well, kinda.......
i found my copy of desktop dyno 2000. i know its not completely accurate but it'll give you a real good idea of where you are at the flywheel. if anyone wants to know thier numbers just list 'em in a reply and i'll run em for ya.
i need to know the following....
bore
stroke
which heads your using / are they ported / larger valves? (using air flow charts i can get pretty close on the heads)
cam specs (the more detail the better)
intake
compression ratio
exhaust system
should be fun to see what we come up with, and it'll give ya an idea of how many HP that new cam or head swap will give ya and show at what RPM your making the power

Stroke- 3.00
Heads-ported E 7's(port matched)
Cam-stock
Intake-Cobra-port matched to heads
Comp. Ratio- stock
Exhaust-BBK-equals/no cats/Mac Muffs/ 2-1/2 in.
Give that a whirl, and thanks
