did you hold the throttle wide open during the test?

someone on here forgot to oil the cylinders and their #'s were off..

alot of oil will cause blue smoke ( overfilled lawn mower once) found out real soon. its hard to tell w/ out being there.

no I didn't hold the throttle wide open during the test , and the block wasn't cold , but not very warm (did'nt want to burn my hands against the exhaust) . Maybe I should do all again but this time , throttle open ? Can you tell my why I should hold the throttle?
