yeah, its a mod motor. IMO they shouldnt be able to use the 302 badges unless it was an old school windsor motor, like THIS from Galpin Auto Sports......







take note of the MSD distributor, and it has a holley reproduction of the 780cfm 4bbl used on the original boss 302 (no EFI here baby!!!) they are also using the new ford motorsport boss block, but they are using aluminum windsor style heads instead of the Clevelands

You know the group, run down to the dealers, pay too much for the 'Mustang of the month' and then sit around talking crap about everybody's car when they can't even change oil themselves...
World is getting too many of that type in it..
I'm thinking that it was better when Ford just built the basic car and you had to work it yourself.
No Saleen, Roucsh, Shelby etc.

60,000 is crazy. but why dont they use the new boss 302 block in that car?

Just wanted to make sure we're all clear here. That is not a Boss 302. That is the Saleen Parnelli Jones edition. It has the same 281 3V from the 2005+ Mustang that's been stroked out to a 302. It's pushing 400 HP N/A. $60,000 is definitely a lot of cash, but these are going to be very limited. I seem to remember the numbers only being like 500 produced, one year only.
