i have two questions i don't know much bout motors and performance and a few guys at work said that if i put hi flo cats on my 88 stang than it would make more power than not having any cats at all like i have now. the engine has a lunati cam cobra intake thats it besides the headers thats my other question i ordered some flowtech longtubes for it and i cna't find a way to get them on, any one know a shortcut or any trick to geting them on?

Cats are restrictive, so you will make less power. Not a ton, but less. You will have to unbolt your motor mounts (two of them) and jack your engine up a bit to get the LT's in. The drivers side will come up from underneath, and the passengers side will drop in from the top. You might have to remove your steering shaft, but maybe not. Depends on the headers. Check the mfr's website and see if they have instructions.
