Default gas tank

Guys, what can go wrong with an old gas tank? I was told that my gas tank is 100% bad, that the baffle is bad? Does that make sense?

How much would a new gas tank cost me?

What is the problem you are having. Yes the baffles come loose inside and slide around and affect the pump and or the sending unit.

Well my buddy is doing my H/C/I swap as we speak and when he was putting in the new fuel pump he noticed that I will be needidng a new gas tank. He mentioned something about the baffle being bad and I will need a new gas tank. I will get more into details with him tomorrow. I coulnd understand him, I was in a meeting..lol...

So I thought I would ask you guys, what could possibly go bad in a gas tank that would make me need another? Thx!
