Default 94 5.0 performance question

Well I am completely new to this. I have a 94 GT vert that I recently made some standard modifications too. I have a fender well CAI using the stock MAF 19LB. I have a Jet performance Chip installed and the last thing I did was the exhaust. Installed an Off-road H pipe and Magnaflow cat back system 2.5" only there are no longer any Cats installed. And I was able to use the O2 sensors just past the headers. I use only 92 octane now.

Question #1) I notice now that there is not much bottom end power, sluggish and sometimes hesitates. It only seems to come alive right a 2K RPM.
The Jet chip is suposed to modify the fuel curve for the entire RPM range. It idles okay right around 500, but sometimes it will flucuate up to about 600 then back down. Is there something else I am missing? How do I tell if it is running to rich or too lean?

Question #2) I also noticed that the rear diff seems to have a lot more slip on the right side than the left. It was serviced less than 5k miles ago. Are there any less expensive modifications to do for the rear? Would larger tires and rims cause more slip? 315/35/17 on 10.5 rims.

Thanks for any help!

IMO, gears are the cheapest and most effective mod. Putting 3.55's in my '93 felt like a 100hp jump right away. Put some in, you'll love it

The Jet chip is a HUGE waste of money on a stock or nearly stock mustang... If I had to guess that's your problem...

What did it do to your top end? Does that change it to POSI from limited slip I am guessing.

Thanks

Posi is a GM term... For are cars it's called Trac-Loc.... You already have Trac-Loc and the chip woudln't change it...

For me it was only a 100$ waste of money then. I will take it out and see if there is a difference since it was installed before the exhaust and now that is wide open. I know the chip has no affect on the rear end. Was just wondering why the right rear seems to slip more than the left.
