Default WONT CHARGE

I have a problem with my battery not charging i have replaced the battery, Alt, and the relay and yet it wont charge i have went threw the wires many times and it looks right. I was just wondering if you guys know of anything i might have not of thought of that would cause this. this is on my 85mustang by the way.

To see what it's putting out. 85, externally regulated? If so, have you checked the regulator?

Check your wiring again. I just fixed the same issue on my 87 carb conversion. I found a wire that looked like it was fine, but was actually cut a little further down. Get a digital multimeter and check everything. Check the relay, regulator, alt, battery, etc... I replaced two alternators and a battery on mine before buying a $24 meter from Harbor Freight.

Had the problem fixed in minutes after that. Also, take the alt. to Advance or somewhere and let em bench test it. I got one from Napa and it was bad from the get go. And it was BRAND NEW too. So, don't rule it out yet.

Here ya go man. This might help with the wiring....Not sure if it's the same, but maybe the charging is similar...
