waste of money. it would be cheaper and more effective to just buy a few gallons of race gas and mix it with the highest octane pump gas available in your area

Make sure it is UN-leaded race fuel.

yeah you efi guys gotta watch out for lead - prolly throw your sensors into a tailspin

carbs ftw!!

and those octane boosters do nothing, i saw a test where you were lucky to gain 1 point

lead harms only the catalysts. It is actually good for your injectors given the gas you use is of good quality. That octane booster contains MMT. This is another known source of catalyst failure so the moral of the story is don't buy that stuff unless your enemy drives a car with cats. [:@]

lead hurts the cats AND o2 sensors other than that everything is fine, and if your only mixing the leaded fuel with nonleaded pump gas you'l be fine there won't be enough lead in it to hurt the sensors, this is all based off the fact of doing this only when the car is at the track

avgas is low lead and cheaper than race fuel - you just have to blend it with premium pump gas cause its lacking an upper cylinder lubricant found in automotive gas

Yea and the fact that it formulated to run at super high altitude and in engines the run relativly low RPM's. Using av-gas is an old 70's myth. Stay away from it if you want to get the right performance out of your engine.
