Default t5 fluid

I searched and saw some people suggesting atf and some synchromesh and I dunno what else. What's the good stuff to run? How much does it take? How do ya go about doin it all since the thing doesn't have a dipstick? Sorry for the newbish questions.

they take atf dexron mercon 3, pull the fill plug out and fill till it pours out the whole, which is around 2.5 quarts

yes there is a drain plug and a fill plug, it's 2.7 qts. i use GM syncromesh (suggested by borg warner)

I used royal purple and love it. However I am going to try Gm synromesh cause 94 GT is usually right and heard good things.
