Default New Tires

well guys i blew a left rear tire on the highway tonight...theres about a 1/4 inch hole in it so theres no fixin it...im debating weather or not to just invest in some drag radials...what do you guys think

ps. downtown columbus is scary at night

It really depends on how many miles you expect to get out of them. Personally i wouldn't get them unless I budgeted to get them repaced every 6,000 miles.

yes they are worth it, but how much do you drive, they don't last long, but you'll hook like a mother.

mickey thompson makes the best, et street radials , not bad in the rain either, till you break them loose then it's over, but not like a biasply tire in the rain, no where near that.

well to replace my one tire its gonna be around $160....they are toyo proxes fz-4's...good lord thats expensive for one tire...i drive it as a daily driver but my job is literally a block away...i live in columbus so im bound to do some highway driving at least twice a week...iono

If anything I'd get Nitto DRs, otherwise there are a lot of decent tires you could find cheaper than $160 each. If you want, wait to get DRs til after you get some gears and more mods, I'd say you dont need them right now.

yea yur right but i figured what the hell...my motto is if it breaks you may as well upgrade...to bad im too poor to follow that motto...i guess ill just suck it up and buy some60 dollar pos tire till i get some money...good lord i cant wait to get my gears
