Default Why does my car suddenly sound so good?

You would not believe the complement's I've gotten from my awesome performance exhaust...

Seriously... I've had people say "seriously man... tell me what exhaust you have" when I tell 'em the truth... Monster nature's speed shop!

The replacement is sitting in the living room as I type, I just need to address a few other issues while I'm at it. Also, for those that may be interested, I attached some pictures of the ultra-cheap C.A.M. (Mustang Warehosue) stainless headers. For $199 shipped they are damn nice products. We'll see how it goes when I put 'em on, but I don't expect anything out of the ordinary.

Also in the spirit of the cheapest stainless I can find, I'm trying the pypes stuff despite everyone saying its junk. The kit seems alright in terms of quality, we'll see how it bolts up. I'm pretty disappointed that the flanges are not stainless, but I can't say that I've ever seen an exhaust flange fail from rust either. Price for everything from headers, X pipe, mufflers, and shipping was $580.

More pics to come!

on those headers there doesnt seem to be much of any flat metal between the bolt holes and the port - i hope you dont blow the crap outta your gaskets as soon as you start er up[&:]

looks like you should use some percy's gaskets or another heavy duty gasket

You got me worried, so I went out and measured... They are about 1/4"-3/8" (depends on which port you measure, they were hand ground). The stock headers measure 1/4" pretty consistantly.

Time will tell...

edit: Oh... The bolt holes... I see your point...
