Before i weld on my subframe shouldI run a weld around the torque box seems? The factory spot weld are what i am talking about. Then weld in the torque box adapter then subframe?
What you are asking is correct. It will work fine. Normally though a chassis person will recommend torque box replacement rather than reinforcements. The guy above with the torn torque boxes seem peculiar, that usually only happens in basically stock cars with rotted boxes. I have ran 10's for years with NO issues with torque boxes. The biggest deal is really keeping an eye on your body/chassis in between passes which you should be doing anyways. But your set-up will work fine.

i did some welding on the seams for my toque boxes and i also installed the battle box kit and then tied the kit into my roll cage

i did this with a stock motor3.73 and et streets never question getting reinforcements for a second just do it is well worth not having to go through the trouble of finding a roller or another car for 75 bucks

here is the upper



i dont have a picture of the lowers i ran a short tube from the plate that mounts inside the car to the main hoop......not to hard to visualize. the plate im talking about sits under the rear seat or in my case, where the rear seat used to be
