Sorry about the noob question, but where is the location of the horn? I just bought an 89 mustang lx and the horn doesnt work. Not even sure if it has one, but it needs one for inspection purposes. Thanks.

Not the horn in the steering wheel, but the actual noise maker itself.

for the fuse, check the fuse box. as for the horn itself, find another car like yours, honk the horn, and pinpoint where the honk is coming from.

IT IS LOCATED IN THE DRIVER SIDE FENDER. YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE THE INNER FENDR AND IT SHOULD BE BEHIND THE WASHER FLUID TANK.

The 89' GT that I recently bought also has a "silent horn" Is that a common screw up for the 89's?

Well, the wire to the horn button in the steering wheel wasnt connected, so we connected it but it seems to short out somewheres... like it'll honk one time then make a funny sound 2nd time... then not work at all teh 3rd honk. Anybody have a problem like this before?
