lol, i think he's trying to ask how much HP do you need to create to make the stock cooling efficiency of the radiator worthless, which i personally think is around 250-275

I know my buddy upgraded his to a 3 row one when he redid the motor and added a charger. That thing never runs hot, ever

I've got a problem with my car building up pressure on the system...It wants to run hot when you first drive it...Then after it gets hot, you can take the cap off, refill it with water, and it runs fine after that...But it does it everytime.... Its only consistant by getting hot at first, then it runs cool after that... I have tried everything but a radiator, cuz my car has 170k on it, and it might be the stocker...It may be clogging up a little... Driving me crazy i know that... The entire motor doesn't get hot, just the upper intake and water pump... It gets unreal pressure on the upper hose... So i'm guessing its clogged up...Any suggestions???

Sounds like air is getting in the system when the motor cools off. Then the air pocket 'plugs up' the coolant flow on next startup.
Try doing a pressure test on the cooling system, you may find a small leak somewhere, maybe?

You shouldn't be able to pull the rad cap while the system is hot... this is pretty dangerous.

As for what the stock radiator can support...
I ran my 408w with 10:1 compression with a 195F stat, standard water pump, and mechanical fanfor a solid 6mo. with NO problems.
Temps were always rock steady at 200F.

My experience,
jason
