Default A 15426378 firing order on 93'HO WTF?!

so i was replacing my spark plugs a couple of weeks ago and noticed when i when to put the wires back on that my 1993 gt HO has a 15426378 firing order! the stock HOs have a 13726548 firing order. what in the heck does this mean? non stock cam? if so, the firing order of the injectors would have to be changed.

anyone know why someone would change the firing order on a HO stang???

it's probably not an HO then. sounds like somebody did a motor swap before you got the car and put a non-HO motor in it.

That would be the firing order of a non-HO 302

more than likely someone changed cams or engines good chance just cam, far as the injectors i guess you could move a few wires around and be fine

This could turn out to be a major can of worms for you..
You need to verify what computer is running the motor.

You cannot run non-HO firing order on a HO computer.
The injector firing order cannot be 'changed' by simply moving the wires, as this will switch a couple of injectors from one bank to another. Now when the computer tries to adjust AFR based on the O2 signals, things get hosed VERY quick.

Have any other mods been made to the car?

Some aftermarket cams use the 351w firing order.
