the stock gears on my 89GT are 3.23. there is a way to check this you have to find a code number on your door frame. I forgot where I saw the article on this. You can also find out for sure by going under the car, have a friend keep an eye on a particular spot on the rear tire, and how many driveshaft rotations it takes to turn the wheel around once is your gear ratio.
