the foxes are very reliable how ever with age and mileage every car has its problems. alt power steering pump smog pump they can all freze yet i have seen new cars like 98 with stuff that freezes so i think you should get a fox

I'd say yeah...but don't expect a perfect car. Most of these had the **** beaten out of them since they first saw the light of day!

I had a 92 t-bird sport with a 5.0HO in it.. and i will be the first to say that those t-birds are really nice.. comfortable cars.. run really good.. ride really good.. good andleing for there size..decent power if you get the V8 one... and hells yes.. my t-bird was the most reliable car i had.. drove it back and forth to Chicago from NH 4 times. 1100 miles one way. by the time i parked it it wasnt because of me getting my foxbody... now the t-bird cant compare to the foxbody in the speed department.. or handling.. or on cheapness and easyness to mod. I would say go for it.. the Birds are nice... but not muchcan out run a stead.

I second the cheese factor. BUt one of the best parts about owning a foxbody is how cheap you can upgrade them. I was reading in the last edition of 5.0 mag where they were talking about how fox's are still around. They were stealing a line old chevy owners used to say "5.0 never die, they just get faster." Because even though the car has been around 15 years or so for the youngest they still have new parts coming out for them all the time.
