did you know a new ford filter will flow more air than a k&n filter? of coarse you can wash a k&n filter.

in the long run the k&n will be cheaper and you dont loose that much air from it. after you run the ford filter a while it will clog up a restrict the air flow. the k&n will still be going strong. i had on in my 94 until it got the CAI

Doesn't really matter.

With metal, although it may be hotter to the touch, air is moving so fast through that tube it doesn't have time to pick up any noticeable heat (4F MAX is what I have seen in most cases).

Go with what ever's cheaper......and that would be exhaust pipe, rubber elbows, adapter or two, and a filter from Autozone.
