can I swap a 4 cyl. for a 351?
has anyone ever successfully replaced a 4 cylinder engine with a 351 and made it work? Is it possible to do this on a 4 cyl. '86 ?

my 86 HAD A 2.3 in it but has a 350 chevy in it now...but yes a 351 w ford will fit...as will a 302-351c 429-460 ford..

Like said above it can be done but will cost more because you will need more parts like wiring harness, motor mounts, and what have you. There are many 351 swap sites. Do a search under google and see what you come up with.

its not really any different than swapping a 5.0 in there, you just need a different pan and headers, mounts too

LMAO.... tis true you get more ***** for less money out of a 350.... but it wont last as long as a good ole ford[X(]

yes it will work, jsut with different mounts and probally alittle welding.
