Default SN95 GUYS!!!!!NEED HELP FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

working on a friends 1998 gt we are doing a brake job and we cant get the rear brake calipers to compress to put the new pads in. how do you do it? ive tried taking the master cyclinder lid off and compressing it w/ a c clamp..... it won't budge is there a trick to doing it?[:-][:-][:@]

may be more helpful to post this in the 4.6 forum but i'm thinking since it's dealing with brakes it don't matter..

there is a 5 dollars tool which looks like a box that your rachet fits in and the notches fit in the caliper piston I believe on these..

^ i agree w/ 2 kwik. you can get the tool any where. Go to a parts store ask to see a new caliper then use the new one to make shure you have the right tool.
