Default Powermaster 140amp

So I got a 140amp alternator from Powermaster cause my amp and my electric fan were killing my old one. I got it out of the box, and it fits fine, but the wires are wrong. The wire that comes in the box comes from the voltage regulator and goes to the positive side of the battery, but there is a 2-prong plug on the alternator itself, and neither plug from my stocker fits this. I thought these were supposed to be OEM replacements? What's the deal? Thanks.

Maybe they sent you the wrong one. That is a sign to do the 3g Alternator Junkyard Swap. I did mine a couple of weeks ago. Whole thing for under 50 bucks and only 10amps less than youres. Should be a no brainer

I have the exact same alternator. You just hook one wire to the positive side of the battery. You leave the 2 prongs alone. Should have a rubber or plastic cover forthose prongs.

Yup, one of the prongs is for a volt guage. Just be sure to disable the voltage regulator if you have one on the car, the Powermaster has one already built in
