RE: Smog delete belt size
U talkin bout the belt bypass? Measure around the pulleys with a piece of string with the tensioner all the way in and then add 1" to the belt size, that's what worked for me.

Here is the Napa number 060840, it is a Gates number also. you have to use the alternate belt routing that this site will not let me post. Hopefully somebaody can post it for you.

RE: Smog delete belt size
In the forums I have seen people saying 84.5 belt. The only thing I am removing is the smog pump on my 92 gt. I know I could use a string but the motors not in the car yet and wanted everything ready when I drop it. I was on advance website and noticed a Dayco Serpentine Belt: 27/32" x 84.5" 6 Rib Part Number: 5060845...............Its designed for a mustang w/o ac and it matches the lenght of what people are posting for smog pump removal.....???

All I can tell you is I tried about 8 different belts before that one worked, and don't forget, the article that I have seen had underdrive pullies. I had to special order the belt size I posted.

RE: Smog delete belt size
so if you bypass the power steering too (like the diagram in the above link) will the power steering pump leak? or throw fluid out? I tried that on my 93 lightning once and the pump through fluid all over the engine compartment...
