I was just wondering which Optima to get for a '91 GT. Optima doesn't claim to make a battery that fits...

autozone sells optimas and they will get u the right one.

Unless you're doing something very extreme, you wouldn't need more than the red top i believe. I don't have enough money to be able to buy a 150 dollar battery anyway .

I just wanna know what optima part # fits the stock tray. I know that they go in there (as seen above), but I'm not sure which one fits.

I've had optima's in the past and been VERY happy with them. Well worth the money.

So... What part number fits?

34/78's fit if you change your battery cables.... I had to lay mine on its side so the cables would attach

I was thinking about converting to side cables anyhow... I just always perfered the look and function of them. I *think* it will fit... Gonna have to change the wiring for the bigger alternator anyhow.
