You need to watch out with the r-12 replacements, a lot of A/C shops wont touch your car with those in your system. There is a lot to know about fixing you A/C right. It is not cheap to do a proper job. Go to the Corral and search for a user named Puter, and pay attention to what he has to say, he has fixed many A/C systems and has helped scores more. Doing it right the first time is much cheaper.

autozone sells the kit of orings specific for the mustang just bought one yesterday to service my a/c system costs around 6 dollars. good luck
