Need some help with alternator wiring. I'm putting a 83 back together with 83 parts I've collected over the years. The only alternator plug (bolts to back of alt then transitions to a roundish two prong plug) I have is a crispy critter. It appears to have orange/black to voltage reg and blk/orange to +. There appears there was a third wire coming out of block that bolts to alt that has burned or been cut off. Can any one verify there is a third wire and were it goes? Is this plug(alternator harness) available from ford? Sorry so long, thanks for any help.

Now that I think of it, do you have one going to the carb for the choke?

Nothing going to choke(holley 4160 now), no power to bi-metalic at all.Some of the parts I have had a hard life before I got them.
