Default 5 lug question

hey guys im trading my 85 vert off tomorrow for a 95 thunderbird with 4.6 in it cause i blew my clutch to peices . but i was wondering any of u know if the bird 5 lug is the same as 5 lug stangs i have set 17" cobra r's and wanna put them on it but someone told me there different i dont know im jus wondering .

pattern should be the same only diferance I know of is the bird will be 4 wheel disk and I belive they have IRS.

thats what thought after i asked i figured it was that . and ya im sure it does i had a 89 with 3.8 in it and it had that and i blew rear end out of that and that wasnt cheap to fix lol .

yeah IRS rides nice suppose to handle well but is weaker on hard acceleration compared to a solid axle.

i know im gonna miss my vert but oh well . ill get another stang soon . my car need new front and rear seal on oil pan clutch maybe tranny and top and few others things and im jus shipping it out guy offered me V8 bird for it way it sets so its gone lol .
