Default Thermactor Air System, Code 94 Help

Just wondering if someone could help me understand the thermactor air system on my 88 GT. I have a code 94 and imagine that the AIR system adn Thermactor Air System are the same thing. If anyone could shed some light on how to fix this problem, or to understand how this system works in the first place it would be appreciated.

LOL, I know. You have to love smog related crap under the hood. Unfortunately if I just remove everything I don't think I will get through an inspection. So for now, its all about trying to fix things.

94 - Secondary Air Injection Inoperative. bank two, driver side (R).

Usually caused by a clogged crossover-banjo tube to the back of the cylinder heads, and/or clogged passages at the cyl. heads....a faulty TAB or TAD solenoid....would cause both codes (44/94) to show up.

Joel

Thanks for the reply. I will definitely have to check that out. You wouldn't happen to have a picture of the Crossover-Banjo tube so that I check the correct thing?

Thanks man! Is this something that once removed could get cleaned with some carb cleaner to solve my issue?

You'll probably have to snake the crossover pipe with a coathanger or something. Mine was pretty clogged, and I had to mess with it for like 30 mins before it came clean.
