alright i'll try that in a minute, as of now i disconnected the radiator hose and drained up the little bit of fluid still in the housing.

uhm i got a 180 thermostat for like 6 bucks, im gonna try to put that in now. the water pump looks new.

should i have to remove the distributor? it seems like a bitch to get into.

in the meantime im gonna have a look see. get back to me.

Time and patience. Youll get it. I undid the smaller hose on the housing for more room. Distributor can stay as it is.
