88 turbo coupe rear swap HELP!!!
I installed a disk brake rear end from an 88 thunderbird coupe. I have spacing questions. I thought the axle was 3/4" wider but I am wondering if it is actually 1.5" Wider (3/4 per side)
How will this wider stance on the rear change my handling. Is it a good idea to add spacers to the front to widen the stance to match the rear.
Brakes are kicking my butt. I ran a new 1/4" line to the front because that is what was on the t-bird but I am not finding a non-abs proportioning valve or master cylinder for this application. Where do I look? What cars have the correct one on them.

245 60 or 245 50 ?
I am running 225 60 15 now but I am planning on upgrading to a 17" wheel with a 245 50 17 ( tire . They are about the same height but I think the 17 requires a 9" wheel. What problem does the 9" wheel cause. I am thinkng outer fender rub. but if I have the outer fender lips rolled in can I get away with it? Or do I need to plan an axle change along with caliper brackets for this upgrade.

yes 3/4 on each side, you can't run wider than 8 inch rim and I wouldn't go more than 245 tire
