Maybe Pzero had an old ford truck that would fire an entire bank at a time. Does he get partial credit?

i put a crown vic motor in my 95 gts and it has the 15426378 firing order ran fine as far as injector timing pretty sure that your cam has to be for that firing order not the 13726548

like mattdel said the hall effect sensor in the distributor times the injectors the way the distributor is wired. i dunno if i explained that right but it did work for me. when i first put that motor in i wired it 13726548 and it only ran off four cylinders wired it correctly and it ran just fine. im not much of an electronic guy. im just tellin you this from experience, just ask mattdel or adder, buta 15426378 motor will run on a mustang computer

It will work in terms of being able to start the engine and run it.....but it will use a "waste injection" pattern in half of the cylinders screwing up A/F control. Simply read the article Ford Fuel Injection ยป Injector Firing Order? so you can understand the importance of having the spark and injectors firing order in sync.

Nope....crankshaft stroke is the same in both engines, you don't have a different crankshaft/firing order....what the cam interchanges is the compression stroke for the exhaust stroke (piston @TDC in both) between specific cylinders....
15426378 to 13726548 = 5 & 4 are now in exhaust cycle while 3 & 7 are in compression first, etc, etc.
