I need a little more go out of my mustang, and instead of doing a stock rebuild, I thought about going with a 331 stroker, what heads are good for this setup? Im on a pretty strict budget and will be doing all the work myself except for stuff that the machine shop only can do. My car right now is an 86 GT, I wanted to change to a carb'd set up instead of fuel injected, so would a 750cfm carb do the trick? Im new to V8's and the whole concept of them, I had 2 240sx's before this mustang, one with the KA, and one with a CA swap, both fun cars, but I like my stang alot better already.

good idea going with the stroker, if your on a budget i'd venture to say very nice heads would be out your price range, you could always get some gt40s with work done

carb is rated on power... how much power you plan on pushing?

380 at the rear wheels, or somewhere around that area. I was thinking a 750CFM carb would work, but then again, this is my first time dealing with them.
