Overheats under load, NOT at idle????
My new-ish (to me) can run in mydriveway for 10 minutes & never overheat. When I pull it out on the road, I'm just underredline temps within 2 minutes while under 1/8 throttle (mostly 25 MPH roads @ 2nd gear on base). When I let off the gas, it'll take about 10 seconds of coasting, and it comes down about 3 needles worth, still too high.I just replaced the water pump (new gaskets & Blue RTV all around), new 180 degree thermostat, new serpentine belt & new fan controllerto try and solve it, but no luck, same problems.
The new fan controller never turns on (I turn it on manually with the override switch) & the radiator is SLIGHTLY warm to the touch whent the gauge shows overheat temps, but it's never hot. Theupper hoseis normal temp, the lower hose is warm at best. The rear water pump gasket will leak slightly when it overheats, but it's all new, I assume it's just giving slightly to relieve pressure. It doen't drip when Idling - only after driving.
Have I blown my headgaskets?? The gasket surface I can see looks near new. WHere do I start and what do I need?
Thanks for the help.

Have you got the car heated up and then checked for any cool spots ont he radiator... Shut the car off first before you check. You may need a new radiator if it is not flowing very well.
