My vote is 4.10's. If I remember right your running victor jr heads. Those things make some high rpm hp so your probably going to be spinning some decent rpms. What size tire btw? I'd probably run a 28 inch tires like a 275/60/15.

i think 4:10 might be to much for a powerfull car. i got 3:73 and about 240 hp and i think its perfect and that i can expand more power onto it. i dont know about you but i would want a car with a nice top end speed 4 10 might be overkill. and have fun with first gear lol

Your not looking at it right. You choose your gears based on rpm you make power at now the amount of power you make. Right now I have 4.10's make my peak power at 5900rpm. 1st through 3rd I shift at 5900rpm but I'm going through the traps in 4th gear at 5300-5400 rpm. That 500rpm of my peak powerband not being used. Since I'm only running a 26 inch tire I need to add more gear so 4.30's would be perfect for my setup.

Well, I ordered 3.90's today. Im going to try them out and I'll decide if I want to go any lower this fall when I build my new Eaton rear. I'll let you guys know how they do because I'll be back on the rizzoad in a few weeks
