Equus 3145 code scanner

RE: Equus 3145 code scanner
I don't have that exact scanner but I've seen them. I actually do have a cheap one I bought at Auto Zone. Paid $28 for it. I did it just to have it, but in reality I could have saved myself the money and did it with a paper clip. In the end it was the same basic thing (because my reader was only a flashing light / beep anyway.)
How much are they asking for it? If it's less than $30 and it will display the actual code then that's not so bad. But f it's much more, I'd just use the old fashioned method. I can't even justify paying the $28 I paid, lol. The only benefit is that it beeps too so I cna listen to it and not have to watch it while I'm writing down the codes.

I picked one up from Amazon.com for $24.99 plus shipping. It has a digital display, so you don't have to count beeps or flashes. Summit sells them for 34.00. It sounded good anyway.
