Water temp gauge install help!
So I bought an electric water temperature gauge and I am having trouble find the right adaptor. I am trying to install it in the hole right next to my water pump near my distributor but I cannot find the right adaptor and don't know what size the hole is. It had aplug in it previously but I am a little stuck. I have a 1/8 npt water sensor right now and I need someone to put me in the right direction of what I need.
Thanks

RE: Water temp gauge install help!
I hope im following correctly...
There were 2 different sensors for that hole. One has an an electrical connection (plug-in)and another type is just a post. Never heard of an adapter for them, unless youre calling the sensor the adapter.
I think the post was a 74-89 piece and the plug-in was 90-up. There was another on here that had an aftermarket temp gauge and had the plug-in swapped for a post style sensor.
