Default Starting problem

I have a 94 GT 5.0. A couple of nights ago i was coming home and stopped at a gas station to put gas in the car. When i got back in the car to start it, the car wouldn't start. I had a friend come try and give me a jump start and nothing. We also tried chnaging the battery and that didn't work also. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

TFI mightve died.

Does it atleast crank or just sit there? Fuel pump hum or do you just hear a click?

if you have a bad starter, when you tried to start it the radio and stuff would come on, but you wouldn't hear anything coming from underneath. its like you can turn the key with nothing happening. if the battery was dead you would hear ticking.

only two possibilities there... dead battery or a bad ignition switch
