alot of guys recomment a custom ground cam, what do you guys think? I only drive this car mabe once a week, only on nice days. I want a strong rough idle and an agressive cam. (mpg does not matter). Any preference.?
Also I checked ebay for scorpian rr's and no one has them for sale any more any suggestions? Thanks again guys..
I want to order this whole setup this week so any help would be appreciated.

i know my old car sounded pretty mean but it didnt like it below 2000 rpms and really came alive from 3-65.

i would go custom there is nothing better than a cam made just for YOUR car.

Ive got an 88gt and I just bought AFRs 61cc stud mount, crane R.R.s mass air for 24lb, timing chain, lifters, pushrods, and the xe270hr-14 cam., Called AFR they said I wont have to notch my pistons, also said I probably wont have to upgrade my springs in the heads cause of my lift but they said it wouldnt hurt.

But you also have to think... Is it worth spending an extra $150 on a custom cam when a good off the shelf brand is VERY similar? Im not saying its the wrong thing to do, but i would save my money.

Got to Anderson Ford Motorsports, they have a TON of custom ground cams already on the shelf, and they will give you an idea about exactly what direction to go in. $299.00 even if they have to modify to fit your needs. Not bad if you ask me.

I suppose the best way would be to ask people that have used a similar or same setup. It just seems more cost efficient, especially in this enviornment.

A custom cam grinder is the best person to orchestrate your combination, IMO. If they know what heads you are using and what you want to use the car for, they can recommend what rockers and springs to go with their cam - based on your goals. Alternately, if you already have heads, rockers, and springs, they can factor the components into their grind. The cam is the key. Don't try to save $100 on this component and risk a bad combo. Cams are not a try and switch item. Again, IMHO.
