are they that much better of a head FullAuto? i have no experience with them just wondering

also who makes headers for the Highports?
Yes, they are that good of a head. Brian Tooley posted a dyno sheet of one of his customers with a 427" 11:1 pump gas motor with TEA Highports. It made 611rwhp N/A on pump gas. Several people make headers for them. With the size you'll be going for, you'll probably be using Kooks. I'd also check Accufab to see if they make them large enough.
[sm=jawdrop.gif] i have always heard kooks nickname is krooks because of there very poor fitment and how long they hang down. have you heard this as well?

full do you think they would outperform the CHI heads? i mean they are only a tad over 2k for the pair and hes got 2k for heads...... seems like a match made in heaven.

I think they would be extremely competitive between the two heads. I wish I could find full flow sheets on the CHI heads. The TEA Highport 225 is within $50 for a hyd. roller setup. I don't like the fact with the CHI you have to use thier intake and on a Windsor you have to use their water crossover. It would probably be a toss up on performance. I also wish I could find more examples of customers cars using the CHIs without it being on their website. He can probably find a lot more combos based off the TFS heads to compare to.

I had a set of Kooks and yes, they sucked. They leaked and leaked and leaked. If I had stock in their gasket company, I'd be a millionaire by now. Any header is going to hang low, you'll probably have a 3.5" collector. Look into Accufab. You're going to find out that with as aggressive of a combo as you're building, you're going to have very few options.
